Coil on Crack...

Went to go kick the shovel yesterday morning. Turned the key and it started smoking...a lot.
I cut the switch and made sure there wasn't a fire. I cut it on again and smoke bellowed so I looked for the source...and found this:



Smoke pouring out of a crack in the top the coil. Called a buddy yesterday and might have a line on a replacement...but holler if you have one that will fit 65-79 Shovel or Ironhead. I always like a plan B.

Brainwash your kids...

Several weeks back I was riding backroads and stopped for lunch. When I went to pay, I noticed a stack of free DVDs...DVDs of Bible verses being read by Jack the Wonder Dog. I gave it to my wife for our oldest child to watch. When we put it in this is what we got:



She let the her watch it for about 5 seconds and shut it off. It has never been played in our house again. She thinks it is a bit strange...I agree.
