New ride...



























































'76 Shovel in a '57 frame. 2 over Paughco springer, foot clutch hand shift, kick only 4 speed, front and rear discs, forward controls. S&S carb, open belt primary, Z bars, and pleather bags under a Le Pera seat. Cardboard box sold separately.

  1. No more bellbottoms for you! Watch that open primary. You'll master the Suicide clutch in about a week. Stock up on the Preparation H (now you know it really stands for Hardtail). Did you figure out the rear brake issue?

  2. Haha, no bellbottoms indeed.
    I rode the scoot back from Sylacauga to Rocky Ridge...until the rear brake went and ruined a perfectly good day. Lesson learned: listen to what you are warned about, especially when it pertains to your "new" '76/'57 Harley.
    I have some ideas for a fix. We'll see what happens.
