Hot Sauce of the Week

African Rhino Peri-Peri Sauce-so thanks to the holidays we have a couple late entries into the Alabama month. Peri-Peri is an African pepper and all of the sauces made with it that I have tried have a distinct taste. The peppers in this particular sauce are grown in Botswana and Mozambique but the sauce is made in Vestavia Hills, AL. With a handful of veggies included, it is a great flavored sauce. My only real complaint is that is could have been hotter especially as the label says it is extra hot. Once I read the ingredient list, I was even sadder to see that peri-peri peppers are next to last on the list. Do not let that stop you though, if you are looking for something different this one fits the bill.
