Customer Appreciation Day
If you are out and about this weekend, stop by Heart of Dixie HD for their Customer Appreciation Day. Kustom Jeff will be there selling prints of his awesome photography. Trust me, I have no less than four of them hanging in my house. Great stuff for your garage, man cave, living room, etc. So GO! If you can't make it, you can see and buy his stuff online here.

Blades for Sale
Spyderco Civilian. This is the old style aluminum version, NOT the G10. Note wear on the pocket clip, have a new style clip on the way that I will include. This model is no longer available, also have the original case and paperwork, has been in the safe and not carried for years.
Spyderco Remote Release II. Another discontinued model, in great shape. There is a small area with a ding on the blade, nothing major. Has been in the safe as well, no box or paperwork with this one.
Lusting after a new blade so these have to go. If you are interested in one or both, contact me through the free sticker link and we can discuss pricing. I will ship anywhere in the US and I take Paypal.

A buddy of mine has a bike for sale, here is what he had to say about it:
"2003 Yamaha FZ-1 "Bumble Bee" for sale. Folding levers, Yoshi slip on, Sargent all day seat, KX high bend handle bars, K&N filter, and carbs jetted up. 36k miles with no issues. This is a rare bike! $4000.00 OBO takes the beast home. Dirty cause it is rode daily.
Only selling to get a new FZ09 after first of the year. I hope I don't regret this, I truly love this bike!"

What I See Imagery
Scored something new for the girls' playroom wall. They have been playing with my motorcycle models a lot lately so it seemed like a good idea. They dig it and now the room has a touch of class.
Check Kustom Jeff's stuff out here. Cool shots and excellent prices.

For Sale-'08 Harley-Davidson 1200 Nightster
So I am pushing back the start of the trip journal by one post to list my bike up for sale.
'08 Harley-Davidson 1200 Nightster (Sportster).
Right under 20k on the clock. This has been a supremely reliable bike that has never let me down on the road, including a 9 day trek earlier this month.
3k on new rear tire, needs rear brake pads ($10 on ebay) and a 20k service. There is a dent in the top right of the gas tank. The bike has been, and is still, under warranty with HD.

Lots of aftermarket goodies. Huge apes with internally wired electrics,
fork brace with hand tooled leather top (still have fender), tank lift
and wire tuck, relocated coil, quick detach sissy-bar, single tail-light
conversion, stickers, etc. The fork bag and fuel sling ARE NOT
included. More pics available upon request, just ask. Decided I want a different bike so this has to go.
$6500.00
There is wiggle
room in the price. Come with a serious offer and you'll do a little
better.

For Sale
From the owner:
"I am selling my 2005 Harley Davidson 1200C. I am the original owner and bought it brand new in 2005. Title is clean/clear and have it in hand. It currently has 36,347mi. I have driven this bike all over the Southeast and it has plenty of power for solo riding as well as 2-up riding. It was last serviced at Heart of Dixie HD on 9/21/11 where it got a new Vance and Hines Black Out 2 into 1 exhaust, Carb rebuild and full service. Mileage at time of service was 32,944. Bike uses HD synthetic oil and has since it's first oil change. Front and rear tire are matching Avon Venom. Front tire is almost new. Rear tire will need to be replaced soon. I choose not to ride with a front fender, but still have it and will be willing to install for buyer. I live in Hoover and am willing to meet within the Birmingham area within reason. I am asking $4,500 OBO Cash. Not looking for any trades at this time.
Accessories:
12 in ape hanger bars
2 in risers
LePera Barebones solo seat
Factory 2 up seat
Quick detach padded sissy bar from HD
Aftermarket grips
Aftermarket forward controls
Willie G skull Derby cover
Willie G gas cap
Screamin' Eagle Air filter
Vance & Hines Black out 2 into 1 exhaust
Side mount license plate (Flyrite)
Cons:
Cosmetic rust
Small dent on gas tank from where I dropped my helmet
Rear tire will need to be replaced soon

Swap and Drag
Had another great time at this event, as usual. I didn't take a ton of pictures this time around and spent most of the day catching up with people. It's pretty great to see so many folks you know all in one place and having a good time.
Kustom Jeff and I left out at 7am Saturday morning in the freezing cold. The first hour and a half was brutal but after the first gas stop and a little coffee, it got warmer quick and the rest of the ride was awesome.
The drags were fun as usual with a crazy mix of bikes, muscle cars and odd stuff like mopeds and lawnmowers going down the strip. Amazing what some people want to run and race...like a Ford Explorer vs a Chevy Tahoe...not one of the more interesting races.
Got to see a AJ from Mississippi, make a couple new MS friends and thanks to Jeff's genius, actually got to set up the hammock near the track. Ross made some killer chili that we all heaped onto closeout hot dogs and we spent the rest of the evening huddled around the fire drinking beer and moonshine and talking shit. Met the folks from Hate City and yes, all of the stories you've heard are true.

The next day we took our time getting up and out. The fire was re-lit and we huddled again as the sun rose. We parted ways with the MS crew and got everything loaded and hit the road. We stopped for breakfast and Jeff and I boogied back to Birmingham. If there is some reason you haven't made it to this one yet, you need to. It's a great time with good people and plenty to see and good parts up for grabs. Do not miss the next one...
Stole the last two photos from Ian, thanks dood.
