The Big Easy

Though this wasn't a motorcycle trip and wasn't during Mardi Gras, it was still an awesome, relaxing time. We were down for the wedding of some of our close friends and got a great vacation out of the deal. We were able to see a lot of the city, do some drinking, gambling and we ate some awesome food. Instead of saying more, I'm just going to caption the pictures and that's it.
Coffee, day drinking and a good book.
View of the water.
 Our limo.
 Jackson Square
 Bourbon Street
 The same.
 Cafe Du Monde.
The Napoleon House
Totally different sight in the morning.

JBMFT-shirts

So...I'm getting some t-shirts made. They will be the same design as the sticker, white letters on a black shirt. $10 including shipping to US only. I'm doing them on a pre-order basis through PayPal. If you want one, click the "Add to Cart" button below. I'm giving two weeks from today for folks to get their orders in and then the list goes to the printer. Once they are done, I'll be shipping them so I'd say you'll have your shirt by early July. If you want me to ship one internationally or need something bigger than an XL, send me a message through the "free sticker link above" and I'll get you a quote. Speaking of, all shirt orders include both the JBMFT and Chopper Checklist stickers.

OFF THE TABLE...FOR NOW.

Tank Art

While Nick's bike was here, I decided his plain old green tank needed a little love.
We brainstormed for a bit before laying out the panels and then started trying to get all the bases covered. Here, you can see at the top we have the line squiggles and scales.
Front left we did some freak, or as Nick likes to call them, polka dots.
Added a desert landscape...
and a space scene.
For flair, we threw a little lettering on the top as well.
Last but not least, we threw one of our new stickers on there so Nick can keep track of his progress.
I'm not sure he was as excited about the art as I was. He said something about painting over it but I know he must be joking.
If he did that, he would totally ruin his chances of selling it online 40 years from now for hundreds and hundreds of dollars...

New Stickers

I got into a conversation with Nick over at Whiskey Wulvz about the state of Choppers and Customs. With everything going on in the world today, it can be tough keeping priorities straight. We decided that this handy dandy sticker was just the thing the scene needed to keep the flow going. Slap this sum' bitch on your ride and mark them off as you go. Click the link on the top right of the page, send me your address and I'll shoot some to you.

You're welcome.

Lee Bender

I've never met the guy but he is a friend of friends and that's good enough. Plus if you've been following his adventures, he seems like a solid guy with piss-poor luck. Don't let the bastards keep you down!

Quit being a tight-wad and drop some cash for a good cause here.

Weekend Happenings

Great weekend, new stickers in the mail from Slave Made, vintage gear and parts. Check it...
http://txdennis.blogspot.com/

Also got this buckle from my buddy Tom, good stuff.

I tried to go for a spin Saturday morning, it was 25 degrees when I left the house at 8am. I made it a few miles before heading back. With all the gear on it was doable but enjoyable...not so much. Later in the day I got out, swung by Haints HQ for a few, tried to go for a spin but was halted by a dead bike (not mine). Nickel's worth of free advice, always check polarity when attempting to jump start another vehicle. Failure to do so can make a bad situation worse...
